PZWFS History
The Polish Association of Special Foundations Contractors (PZWFS) was established in 2003 on the initiative of ten companies operating in the special foundation work market. The founders represented Polish shareholders and operated primarily in the Polish market. In the course of time they were joined by other companies conducting business activities in Poland as well as by the Polish branches of international concerns. Currently PZWFS has 20 member companies offering design and execution of special foundation works. They constitute majority of active contracting potential in Poland.
Main objectives
The main objective of PZWFS is promotion of mutual interests of the foundation work sector. The major areas of activities include attention to quality and technical correctness of the executed projects and attention to safety requirements and image of companies and individuals actively participating in the foundation work market.
Organisational frame
PZWFS fulfils their objectives by organising technical courses and conferences, lobbying in industry organisations and government institutions for high safety standards and promoting responsible business and consumer practices within the organization. Representatives of all the member companies have triannual meetings. These meetings are a good opportunity to identify the issues of more importance to the industry, sum up the objectives and tasks and plan our futures activities. They usually include visits to important and interesting construction sites of the member companies.
Cooperation with EFFC
We actively participate in EFFC projects. Owing to that we can mutually compare our industry standards in all the European countries and benefit from best practice polices on the continent scale.
